w0w what a fucking week. It has been stressful to say the least. For anyone that might not know I quit my job last Tuesday. Its a long story and I really don’t fell like typing it all out, but lets just say I knew it was time for me to move on. I have been getting calls and messages from former co-workers expressing their shock (over the crap that lead to my leaving) and then gratitude for what I did while I was there. Its really sad the way it had to end, but it is what had to be done.
I have been through a whole range of emotions: fear, relief, exhaustion, justification, sadness, sleepless nights, anger, and more that I can’t fit into words at the moment. It seems the the worst of the emotional roller coaster is over. Last night I got a decent night sleep and that helps a lot.
What’s next for me? I don’t know but I am ok with that, it will come with time. I can afford to be without a job for a while, which helps. My resume is currently being processed at a couple companies I would love to work for and got some buddies in the inside putting in a good word for me.
Well thats all I really got for now. Hopefully it won’t e another week before I get off my lazy butt and update this bloody thing again.
Update: I almost forgot, this week I am judge over at hiptop hunt. Its a camera phone scavenger hunt with a new theme every week. Big props to Divinity, great site.

more Domain probelms
In an early post, I mentioned the probelm with www.awesomegrandson.com not resolving to the correct (GeeSeven.com) site. Now it appears that according to a letter (not email) that I got GeeSeven.com will be giving me probelms too. Something about it was already registered to someone else, too much legal speek for me to understand. I am not sure how long GeeSeven.com will work before it goes dark, but please update your Bookmarks with my new domain:

Tmobile really sucks
T-Mobile is notorious for their poor customer service, well the whole cell phone industy is too. I have had many bad experiences with tmo since 10/02/02 when I first got my black and white Sidekick. But I think the one that happened today takes the cake.
It all started about two weeks ago when I called customer care to upgrade my voice plan to get more minutes. *Insert flashback here* I talked with a very nice lady that was “happy to help me with that.” After telling her how I wanted to change my voice plan and specificly telling her not to remove my data plan, she said that “wouldn’t be a probelm.” She also told me that the change wouldn’t take place till my next bill cycle, 02/10/05.
Fastfoward to today 02/10/05, I have no data services. I call customer care and talk to some tool shed. I explained my situation and then the lies start pouring out. He told me that data plan got cancelled. I got pissed cause I know back in the day when your data plan got cancelled your backed-up data also got deleted. I told him that there was some mistake because I specificly told the nice lady not to change or delete my data plan.
Then captin cool guy told me that it got deleted not by accident but cause there is only one voice plan you can get with the sk data plan. I told him he was wrong, then he said he could reinstate my data plan although he just told me it got deleted cause it couldn’t be active with the voice plan I upgraded to.
Then he then went on to tell me that it would 48-72 hours before I could get my data back. I also knew that was a lie and I bitched about how I needed my data services because I needed an email with directions to a funeral (which is no lie). He then offered me bonus minutes then I bitched more telling him that bonus minutes won’t help me get the directions I needed. He then transfer me the the wireless data group and they got me back up and running in less that one minute not 48-72 hours.
So lets count the lies:
1. only one voice plan with sk data plan
2. my data plan getting cancelled becuase of lie #1
3. the 48-72 hour window to reinstate my data plan
I can understand people making mistakes cause thats part of life. But please don’t make up three lies just to cover it up, especially when they are bad lies that I can call you on.
