I was just heading home after running some errands when I saw this huge thick could of smoke, so I went to check it out.

The story I got from other on-lookers was the guy pulls into a gas station when his car was on fire?!??! The driver gets out then there was two or three explosions!! Just after that I pull into the Conn’s parking lot just behind the Chervon on De Zavala at Vance Jackson. The car burns unchecked till SAFD rolls up and puts it out.

Granted common sense goes out the window when you are driving a car that is on fire, but why pull into a gas station and better yet why stop right on top of where they fill the underground tanks?!?! (so maybe stopping and getting some up close pictures wasn’t that smart either)

Took acouple days off and went to Houston to see freinds and family. It was my first time being home since I moved to San Antonio.

Did all the typical stuff, got wings with Paul at BW3, happy hour at Stag’s Head, smokin’ turkeys with the fire fights (just like last year) and then had thankgiving dinner at Owen and Christine’s house. I headed home after dinner and got cuaght doing 87 in a 65 ouside of Waelder, TX. OUCH!

I noticed the other day that both my inspection and registration was out on the Jetta, so today I took care of that, did a target run, hit the grocery store and even had time for Bed Bath and Beyond.

So the other night, Jose and I were going to make a Best Buy run durning “lunch” so he could pick up Transformers on DVD (yes I work with nerds). We take my car and it didn’t start right and Jose convinces me to go to Auto Zone to get the battery tested.

Turns out the battery did need replacing, and the guy from Auto Zone and Jose (black shirt) got it replaced in no time.

We didn’t make it to Best Buy, but thanks Jose!

Had a 30 min conversation with one of the guys at laughing squid about Michael Crook and his false DMCA claims relate to his foxnews appearance and what the EFF is doing about it.

Then talked with a customer about tmail.com (email adress that come with a sidekick) spam.

And to top it off Sweetums did a little Billie Jean karaoke complete with dancing. instant classic.
