Back at the ranch (ranch ranch)

What is it about the Texas hill country that makes every part of a man’s beings just feel right? Is there no greater feeling than unplugging, spending time with friends and watching nature? Why does floating in a creek drinking beer seem much better than fighting configuration files and attempting to fix email probelms? How come hearding a single goat with a 4-wheeler hours before you nornally wake up makes you just want to laugh?

So yea, I was at Hart’s ranch (ranch ranch) this weekend and life was good. Did all the typical ranch trip activies and had a shorter drive home!

See previous posts about the ranch (ranch ranch) for pics, as I only took this pic of a print of The Rublic of Texas currency. The print was hanging the a old school house that I had never been in before.

Mobile Links

I had a request for some links to cell phone browser friendly web sites. Most of my bookmarks on my Sidekick no longer worked. But for those of you that might be interested in the few that still worked, here ya go.

Most of the bookmarks were from the era before ever phone had a browser and now many sites automatically redirect to a cell phone friendly layout.

I may or may not update that page with more links, just depends on how lazy I am.

happy today!

New couches

Posted by geeseven | moblog | Sunday 15 April 2007 6:05 pm

I got a pair of couches to replace the old one. Don’t worry sleebus, it has gone to couch heaven just yet, I gave it to a coworker.

My living room isn’t the right space for two couches, but I am only here for another month and away.

Went with a bunch of coworkers to see the midnight showing of Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters. It was a typical crowd for cult ‘classic’ fats asses, white trash and of course computer nerds.

I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. If you a Aqua Teen fan, then you should see it, if not you should be a fan.

Its Easter weekend and its cold. I can’t believe that two days ago I was at a team outing going tubbing in New Braunfels.

Yes you read that correct. On Thursday, my team at work got the day off, pilled into a 15 passenger van, crammed coolers everywhere we could fit them and went tubbing. The forecast didn’t look good, but it turned out to be a perfect day, not a cloud in the sky, warm day and perfect water temperature. While we did have alittle problem finding a place to rent us tubes, but that just meant we have the river all to ourselves. We also didn’t have any problems with new cooler laws, hell I was drinking beer straight out of those mini kegs you can get at the grocery store right from the comfort of my tube!

The outing was totally awesome, getting everyone out of the office and letting lose.

back to the H

Got last saturday off, so I headed home as I was alittle home sick. It was just what the doctor ordered, family, friends, Spanish Flower breakfast, rollin’ rock, dumplings, 6 year olds and of course cold ones.

Did take any pictures except Zack holding Warren and D’s baby!
